Ryan Wade - MentorMeetings.com Co-Founder

Hi,

My name is Ryan Wade. I was born on May 23, 1984. I grew up in Corpus Christi, TX, just a stone throw away from the water. I surfed and fished almost everyday of my life. After highschool, I decided to come to Texas A&M University in College Station, TX. And this is where it all started…

You see, when I came to A&M, I got really bored… really fast. Being away from the ocean was horrible. I had never been away from the water before, and it was really getting to me. I started searching for something to occupy my time.

I never really was much of a sports guy, besides surfing and fishing, so the regular sports didn't do it for me. Many of my friends starting playing intermural football, baseball, and soccer, but I just couldn't get into those sports. I started feeling really down, and I couldn't seem to find anything "fun" to do. Soon after, I found something that started my career online.

I started an eBay account in the fall of 2002. I had always loved making money, but the internet was definitely new grounds for me. You see, I never even had an email account until I came to college. I had friends that would use Instant Messenger all the time, but I never got into computers.

Well, my eBay business took off! I was soon making thousands online, in my spare time, and still going to school full time. I begin finding new ways to leverage my passion. I started going to garage sales every Saturday. I would map out all the garage sales on Friday night, and wake up at 6am Saturday to visit them all. When I got home, I would list everything I bought. This was another gold mine!

For every $20 I would spend at a garage sale, I would make (on average) $200. That is 1000% profit! I started really making a lot of money, but also dreading getting up so early on Saturdays! So, I started working a little smarter, and not harder.

I started my first website in the fall of 2003. It was nothing fancy, and basically a business card online. I begin selling stuff for friends on eBay. They would bring me their merchandise, and I would sell it for the for a fee. This was great for me. No more early Saturdays, and I had an endless supply of things to sell. I actually had to turn down many people because it got so big. My friends would tell their friends, and those friends… etc. My business started growing just by word of mouth.

After a few months of this, everything was going smooth. Business was great, and I was making a lot of money. More than enough for a student to live on, but I started getting tired of spending time for money. Even though I was making a lot, I was also spending a lot of time shipping stuff, posting auctions, and taking pictures. I love the idea of making money online, but I wanted to find something that didn't require that much labor.

I discovered the concept of affiliate marketing in the fall of 2004. I knew nothing about internet marketing, besides the selling that I did on eBay. I was immediately fascinated though. I started literally buying everything I could on the subject. I bought ebooks, training coarses, dvd's. I spent so much money trying to figure out how to become successful marketing affiliate products. I started learning about html, building webpages, driving traffic, etc. I was not a technical guy at all, but I started trying to make myself one. That was the first thing I did wrong!

I wasted so much time doing the things I HATED doing. I did not like building web pages, or focusing on advertisements. I could do it, but I wasn't passionate about anything like that. I was passionate about ideas. I was great at generating money-making ideas, but horrible at the implementation of them!

This all changed in the spring of 2005. I met someone that would literally change my life. His name was Bram Smith. Bram was a big producer in an affiliate program that we were both a part of. He was making a ton of money online, and I wanted to know how he was doing it. After many emails, and tons of phone calls, we finally met. I was a young kid with TONS of ideas, and he was a seasoned marketer that knew a lot about making money online. We didn't hit it off at first, but I think my persistence got the best of Bram… ?. I knew that if I could just get the right training and mentorship that I would be set.

So… to make a very long story short… we now do a lot together. Bram was able to fill the "technical" void that I had in my life, and I provided some of the "creativity" he was missing in his. We have built a truly unique team, and have really started to blosum online.

I was making more money before I graduated college than most of my friends that had been working for years. My income almost doubled every company offer that I received before graduation. Needless to say… I didn't accept any of the offers… I decided to keep working for myself after school.

Bram and I have been working together now, full time, since 2006. I just graduated Texas A&M in August 2007, and am working full time online now. Internet marketing is the best business ever. Besides the income, the freedom of time is absolutely priceless!

I don't want anyone to think that I am trying to brag about the money I make online, or the time freedom that I have… because I am not! I just want people to realize that this is possible. It doesn't matter where you are in life, you can start building a profitable business online right now. If a full time college student can do it with little technical knowledge… I am sure that you can too!

So that brings us to you… The main reason we decided to start MentorMeetings.com is to help people achieve the lifestyle that we have. Our goal is to help you find your passion in life, and turn it into a profitable online business.

We are creating this site to be a resource to you. A place that you can come for ideas, and guidance in your ventures online. We also are developing this site to grow with you.

I have learned so much through teleseminars, and I want ANYONE to have access to the advice that has helped me and my business.

One of the best ways to learn is from someone who is already successful in what you are looking for... that is why we are doing these teleseminars.
